Being a better Muslimah

Assalamualaikum people..

Do you know what the greatest freedom is? That is when you do not allow anyone to invade your insides against your will. One may dominate your body, but your soul remains free, and your thought is still rebellious to be subjugated EXCEPT TO GOD.. <Salamn bin Fahd al-O'da>

Each day, i try to be a good (better) person..a better Muslimah to be exact. But it is not as easy as it is..There are lots of things i need to improve myself. But i'm still trying my best though i knew i'm not perfect in many ways. i'm still learning..and i just do whatever i think it is good for me. ignoring what people may think of me.

Here are some very great reminder for me and you. I just wanna share what's good for everyone..i hope this one will give us some benefits in dunia and akhirat..in sha Allah. Continue reading people..

How to Become a Better Muslimah
If you are a Muslimah who feels that she has been lacking in her religious duties, it is not too late to turn that around, regardless of your age or what you have done. Here are some things you can do to become a better Muslimah:

1. Discover what are the influences causing you to turn your back on your religion come. 
Maybe you can trace back the cause to either family situations or friends that are leading you in the wrong path. Leave the friends. They will not be there on judgment day when you have to face Allah on your own. If it is because of family, it is a little more difficult. This is where the next steps will come in handy.

2. Wear hijab.
If you are truly devoted to turning over a new leaf and becoming the best Muslimah that you can be, you must wear the hijab. The hijab is not just a piece of cloth that covers hair, it changes you mentally and spiritually. Think of it as a way for Allah to protect the women. As soon as you wear the hijab, hopefully, your whole perspective on self-respect and values will automatically change. Consider the additional benefits of the face veil (niqaab).

3. Pray five times a day. 
Before you get on the prayer rug, learn what the prayer words mean to enhance your contemplation within prayer. If you do not speak Arabic, try to find some translated versions of the prayer and take some time to read and understand what the words mean. Start making prayer a normal part of your day, the way eating is needed to us, our spiritual food is prayers.

4. Read the Quran. 
Again, you can read it in English if you are not fluent in Arabic. Reading the Quran will help establish a useful relationship with Allah and will also allow you to understand how beautiful the religion is. Listening to it (you can find videos online) also makes you feel closer to Allah.

5. Learn more about Islam. 
Know what you have to do (which is called ‘wajib’ things) and what you can’t do (haram things). The Internet is a valuable source to search for Islamic rules and regulations and the punishments that apply if they are broken. The punishments may sometimes seem severe, but they are there to protect society and guide the believers to follow the way of Allah (SWT).

6. Try to allocate a minimum amount of time each day to Islamic activities.
For example four hours split between salah, Quran and Islamic studies will enable you to build up your relationship with Allah swt and make good progress with acquiring knowledge. Remember that the 5 fard (obligatory) salah are your top priority and you should form the framework of your daily routine around these.

7. Dress modestly. 
This does not mean that you have to look ugly or not stylish. Just be modest. Wear longer shirts and avoid tank tops and shorts. Stay away from clothes that are too tight. Remember that it is obligatory to cover the whole body except the face and hands, which are recommended but not obligatory. This also helps you to change your whole outlook on what is acceptable and what is not.

8. Hang out with good friends.
Going with the theme you may want to make friends who share your mission of being a good Muslim. If you are lucky enough, you might spot a Muslimah your age. Be sure to make friends with a “practicing” Muslimah if you find one. You can tell her how you are trying to be a better Muslim, and she might be able to help!

9. Avoid negative influences.
Including old friends (as hard as it may be, the reward is well worth it) who may have had a bad influence or who bring out the negative characteristics in you. We all have the Shaitan (devil) in us, but it is our responsibility as Muslims to fight these temptations and urges by increasing our faith and spirituality.

10. Forgive yourself for any sins you may have committed. 
You need to let go of past mistakes and work on improving the future. Whatever has happened is done. It is in the past and there is nothing you can do to change it or better it. The only thing you can do is forgive yourself or use those negative experiences as motivation to get better and do good.

11. Notice where your weaknesses are and avoid them. 
This is not to say that you should run every time a guy comes near, but learn to lower the gaze and remember that Allah (SWT) is severe in punishment. They are not people that you need in your life anyway.

12. Take it day by day. 
If you make it a priority in your mind that you want to strive to be the best Muslim girl possible, you will achieve this goal without even realizing it! Every time you are about to do something, think: “Is this something good or religious?” If it isn’t, don’t do it! Simply remind yourself and be ready to stop yourself, just in case. Every single moment of every day must be devoted to providing pleasure for Allah (SWT).

Wherever we are, we must refer back to Quran..Together we can do it. In Sha Allah.

Happy New Year 2013

Assalamualaikum all..and happy new year!!

It's 2013 now! it's a new year!! a new azam..heheh..so for 2013, i am trying my best to be a better me..and do my Amway business harder than previous years..hopefully In Sha Allah. 

There are so many things to do this year..and many events will happen..jeng3..!!! hahah! nothing larr just making suspend soundtrack =P i just got my work schedule for 2013 and obviously, it is a  very huge challenge for me..i wonder if i can survive..lots and lots of new things will be coming throughout the year..and i'm just hoping that all these things will make me more like "grown ups" mentally and emotionally..physically?? no i don't think i so (and i don't want to grow older physically..neither me..nor u..ryte??)..i just wanna look younger than i'm supposed to be ^_^ >>gunalah Artistry Youth Xtend<< huhu sempat promote..but its true..this is a product by Amway which is very good for all of u ppl out there who want to look younger now, and younger in future..seriously i'm not lying..

2012 Is Leaving Us

Assalamualaikum all.. =)

Another 1 day left to go to 2013...are we <(me actually..heheheh)> ready yet?? haha aper la punye soalan..ready or not ready, 2013 still coming..another new year, new "Azam", new spirit, new look, new 'jawatan', and becoming new status?? ooppss..huhuhu ..Aper2 pun 2012 still leaving us...with lots of memories..i just wanna bring all the good ones...the 'not so good' i'll left them behind ^_^ >>most of u will do ryte..<<

This year (2012), many of my friends change their status..especially my bestest fren >>there were 4 of us and we called our team "EWPS Production".. EWPS are the first letters of each of us...mine is "P" >,< why production?? it because when we were studying, we done a small business..i mean, serious business..hehe standard larr kan students nk cari duet lebih.. so nk dijadikan cerita, the "W" got married masa awal2 tahun...followed by the "S" who was getting married on 9th November and my dear "E" changed her status on 15th November..tinggal la the "P" (yeah thats me!!)...I just being happy for them..semoga berbahagia ke akhir hayat...

In 2012, we (me n my family) got 4 new kittens >>anak Che Embung<< sooooooo cute..we named them Shiro, Gemique, Theo and Oscar..but as my previous entry, Shiro was missing and Oscar was dead :'( but thats ok..we still have about another 5 including the induk of all of them, Donna..

Even though i'm 25 and will become 26 next year..i'm still a DORAEMON die hard fan..yeah! minatku xkan pernah berubah padamu..hehehe..when i was little, my mom always bought me komik Doraemon..and i learnt my reading through that comic..what a great reading approach..!! I was really into that comic which made me trying to get into my mom's drawer to naik mesin cahaya masa..and masuk dalam almari coz i thought it can be pintu suka hati!! hahah!! throughout 2012, i went to this kedai buku and bought Doraemon comics..but when the pakcik asked me, i told him it was for my little brother,,hehehe pandai kan menipu =P and i will still buying it no matter what...

i think i stop here..and this is truly the last one from me for 2012..till we meet again next year..do pray for me...semoga 2013 menjanjikan yg baik2 utk kita semua..dan semoga dipermudahkan segala urusan..Amin..

My Dream Wedding

Assalamualaikum... 

Today, I don't know why..my heart is so berbunga-bunga lah pulak..adoiyai..maybe because almost every weekend along this two months holiday was full of my frens' wedding invitation...ni yg rase macam nak..........................huhuhu xboley, x boley...lambat lagi..

But seriously..as a girl (not yet a woman), i'm so sure that each girl out there has their own dream wedding ryte?? to marry your dream guy in a romantic and memorable ceremony...with white flowers here and there...in your beautiful wedding dress..and a blinking tiara on the top of ur head..hahahh..me too ^_^

It is hard to say now..coz its like too early -->> agak early la<<-- but...urmm..here's some graphic ideas...hehe hopefully it will be..

Spices of Life

Assalamualaikum all... 

After so long disappearing due to busyness (busy la sangat!!) lately..finally here i am.. ^_^

It's been almost 6 months since my latest post...there were lots of things had happened. Well, of course there were sweet, sour, bitter n variety more things, and i was laughing and crying out loud throughout it..and luckily I've been walking trough that..Alhamdulillah thank you Allah..

After 2 months holiday...rase sangat2 refreshing n bersemangat to go back to my work..(yeah right.. =P) holiday for me was staying at home...being lazy, eat, sleep and playing with my (our family's) cat all the time...and not to forget, gaining and gaining fat..hahah..

There is another 1 Embung's child..its "Theo" but she is not so friendly..therefore i rarely have her picture..and also Kachung, he is Embung's brother...but i was not taking his pic coz he was sick..and some people said we cannot capture them because it will make them die..i love them so much and i don't want them to die..tapi ada sekor yg dah mati masa baby..his name was "Oscar"..and another 1 was missing until today, "Shiro"..I wonder whether she was still alive or not..they were adik-beradik Gemique and Theo..

I'm very grateful to Allah because He gave LOVE within myself to LOVE cats..dulu I really cannot    be near with any cats..(sebab kucing takut kat saye..or terbalik kot)..heheh

I think that's all..and this is my last post for this year (maybe)..pray for me.. May 2013 will be full of happiness..semoga dipermudahkan segalanya..In Sha Allah... Amin..

last sunday i went to my fren's wedding wif my dear sis, "him" n our 2 other frens..hehe..so here i wud like to wish my dear ex-classmate >>Azmil & Maziah<< selamat pengantin baru (Sunday 27th May 2012) n semoga kekal ke anak cucu..bahagia sampai ke syurga..insyaallah..

its great being married..to have someone by our side..to share our feelings..having a shoulder to cry on..being a wife, and a mother.. i know every person have their own moment..just wonder when my time wud be..hik3 << i just thought i've got some hints yesterday.. ^_^ >gedikz<
whatever it is,,jodoh di tangan Allah yg Maha Esa..Maha Mengetahui...Allah knows the best for us..semoga kita semua mendapat jodoh yg terbaik yg telah Allah tetapkan..

10 PETANDA DIA JODOH KITA...??

Assalamualaikum allz...
it's a really nice Monday coz today is holiday <yeah!!> for Malacca as to celebrate Melaka Bandar Raya Warisan Dunia on 15th April which was yesterday (Sunday --> of coz cuti dibawa ke Monday..heheh..) just to share with u guys, an article i read from one of my fb fren's shared...its about 10 petanda jodoh..when i read it, i thought maybe it is true...so here it is just for sharing...

1. BersahajaKekasih kita itu bersikap bersahaja dan tidak berlakon. Cuba perhatikan cara dia berpakaian, cara percakapan, cara ketawa serta cara makan dan minum. Adakah ia spontan dan tidak dikawal ataupun kelihatan pelik. Kalau ia nampak kurang selesa dengan gayanya, sah dia sedang berlakon. Kadang-kadang, kita dapat mengesan yang dia sedang berlakon. Tetapi, apabila dia tampil bersahaja dan tidak dibuat-buat, maka dia adalah calon hidup kita yang sesuai. Jika tidak, dia mungkin bukan jodoh kita.

2. Senang BersamaWalaupun kita selalu bersamanya, tidak ada sedikit pun perasaan bosan, jemu ataupun tertekan pada diri kita. Semakin hari semakin sayang kepadanya. Kita sentiasa tenang, gembira dan dia menjadi pengubat kedukaan kita. Dia juga merasainya. Rasa senang sekali apabila bersama. Apabila berjauhan, terasa sedikit tekanan dan rasa ingin berjumpa dengannya. Tidak kira siang ataupun malam, ketiadaannya terasa sedikit kehilangan.

3. Terima Kita SeadanyaApapun kisah silam yang pernah kita lakukan, dia tidak ambil peduli. Mungkin dia tahu perpisahan dengan bekas kekasihnya sebelum ini kita yang mulakan. Dia juga tidak mengambil kisah siapa kita sebelum ini. Yang penting, siapa kita sekarang. Biarpun dia tahu yang kita pernah mempunyai kekasih sebelumnya, dia tidak ambil hati langsung. Yang dia tahu, kita adalah miliknya kini. Dia juga sedia berkongsi kisah silamnya. Tidak perlu menyimpan rahsia apabila dia sudah bersedia menjadi pasangan hidup kita.

4. Sentiasa JujurDia tidak kisah apa yang kita lakukan asalkan tidak menyalahi hukum hakam agama. Sikap jujur yang dipamerkan menarik hati kita. Kejujuran bukan perkara yang boleh dilakonkan. Kita dapat mengesyaki sesuatu apabila dia menipu kita. Selagi kejujuran bertakhta di hatinya, kebahagiaan menjadi milik kita. Apabila berjauhan, kejujuran menjadi faktor paling penting bagi suatu hubungan. Apabila dia tidak jujur, sukar baginya mengelak daripada berlaku curang kepada kita. Apabila dia jujur, semakin hangat lagi hubungan cinta kita. Kejujuran yang disulami dengan kesetiaan membuahkan percintaan yang sejati. Jadi, dialah sebaik-baik pilihan.

5. Percaya MempercayaiSetiap orang mempunyai rahsia tersendiri. Adakalanya rahsia ini perlu dikongsi supaya dapat mengurangkan beban yang ditanggung. Apabila kita mempunyai rahsia dan ingin memberitahu kekasih, adakah rahsia kita selamat di tangannya? Bagi mereka yang berjodoh, sifat saling percaya mempercayai antara satu sama lain timbul dari dalam hati nurani mereka. Mereka rasa selamat apabila memberitahu rahsia-rahsia kepada kekasihnya berbanding rakan-rakan yang lain. Satu lagi, kita tidak berahsia apa pun kepadanya dan kita pasti rahsia kita selamat. Bukti cinta sejati adalah melalui kepercayaan dan kejujuran. Bahagialah individu yang memperoleh kedua-duanya.

6. Senang BekerjasamaBagi kita yang inginkan hubungan cinta berjaya dan kekal dalam jangka masa yang panjang, kita dan dia perlu saling bekerjasama melalui hidup ini. Kita dan kekasih perlu memberi kerjasama melakukan suatu perkara sama ada perkara remeh ataupun sukar. Segala kerja yang dilakukan perlulah ikhlas bagi membantu pasangan dan meringankan tugas masing-masing. Perkara paling penting, kita dan dia dapat melalui semua ini dengan melakukannya bersama-sama. Kita dan dia juga dapat melakukan semuanya tanpa memerlukan orang lain dan kita senang melakukannya bersama. Ini penting kerana ia mempengaruhi kehidupan kita pada masa hadapan. Jika tiada kerjasama, sukar bagi kita hidup bersamanya. Ini kerana, kita yang memikul beban tanggungjawab seratus peratus. Bukankah ini menyusahkan?

7. Memahami Diri KitaBagi pasangan yang berjodoh, dia mestilah memahami diri pasangannya. Semasa kita sakit dia bawa ke klinik. Semasa kita berduka, dia menjadi penghibur. Apabila kita mengalami kesusahan, dia menjadi pembantu. Di kala kita sedang berleter, dia menjadi pendengar. Dia selalu bersama kita dalam sebarang situasi. Tidak kira kita sedang gembira ataupun berduka, dia sentiasa ada untuk kita. Dia juga bersedia mengalami pasang surut dalam percintaan. Kata orang, "lidah sendiri lagikan tergigit", inikan pula suami isteri'. Pepatah ini juga sesuai bagi pasangan kekasih. Apabila dia sentiasa bersama kita melalui hidup ini di kala suka dan duka, di saat senang dan susah, dialah calon yang sesuai menjadi pasangan hidup kita.

8. Tampilkan KelemahanTiada siapa yang sempurna di dunia ini. Tipulah jika ada orang yang mengaku dia insan yang sempurna daripada segala sudut. Pasti di kalangan kita memiliki kelemahan dan keburukan tertentu. Bagi dia yang bersedia menjadi teman hidup kita, dia tidak terlalu menyimpan rahsia kelemahannya dan bersedia memberitahu kita. Sudah tentu bukan senang untuk memberitahu dan mengakui kelemahan di hadapan kekasihnya. Malah, dia tidak segan mempamerkan keburukannya kepada kita. Misalnya, apabila dia bangun tidur ataupun sakit dan tidak mandi dua hari, dia tidak menghalang kita daripada melawatnya.Apabila kita dan dia saling menerima kelemahan dan sifat buruk masing-masing, memang ditakdirkan kita hidup bersamanya.

9. Kata HatiDengarlah kata hati. Kadangkala, manusia dikurniakan Allah deria keenam yang dapat mengetahui dan memahami perasaan pasangannya. Dengan deria batin ini juga kita dapat saling tahu perasaan masing-masing. Kita dan dia juga dapat membaca fikiran antara satu sama lain dan dapat menduga reaksi dan tindakbalas pada situasi tertentu. Apabila kita yakin dengan pilihan hidup kita, tanyalah sekali lagi. Adakah dia ditakdirkan untuk kita? Dengarlah kata hati dan buatlah pilihan. Serahlah segalanya pada ketentuan yang maha berkuasa.

10. Solat Istikharah dan TawakkalJodoh dan pertemuan semuanya di tangan Allah SWT. Manusia hanya perancang di pentas dunia ini dan skripnya ditulis oleh yang maha esa. Adakalanya, dalam memainkan peranan sebagai pelakon, diberi petunjuk melalui mimpi atau gerak hati. Mimpi memang mainan tidur, tetapi apabila kita melakukan sembahyang Istikharah dan memohon supaya Allah memberikan petunjuk, insya-Allah dengan izinnya kita mendapat petunjukNya. Jika dia pilihan kita, buatlah keputusan sebaiknya. Jika tidak, tolaklah dia dengan baik. Semua yang kita lakukan ini adalah bagi mendapatkan kebahagiaan hidup di dunia. Setelah semuanya diusahakan, berserahlah kepadaNya dan terus berdoa. Ingatlah, nikmat di dunia ini hanya sementara.Nikmat di akhirat adalah kekal selamanya.

whatever it is, we have to remember that JODOH DI TANGAN ALLAH YANG MAHA ESA...so, we just need to usaha + doa + tawakkal...semoga kita akan mendapat jodoh terbaik yg telah Allah tentukan...Allah knows best for us...thank you for reading..till then,XOXO
